Created Issue: Dynamicly loaded module & password error [5570]

Hi all
I implemented the webservice etc. and all went fine. Getuser is working propper.
Now I loaded a usercontrol dynamicly via vb code on the same page

dim c as control = loadcontrol("~/desktopmodules/test/test.acsx")
placehold.controls.add(c)

Now I want to use Iweb-webservices from this loaded control.

As a test I moved the getuser and the vbcode to this test.acsx and start running.
But now I get the message "Not authorized to perform this function: Username xxxx."

Debugging further I found the function (in IwebAuthentiaction.vb) IsUserValid returned false because of the string _Password and strEncriptionKey are different

Any light on this will be welcome.

Closed Issue: IWebAuthendicationHeader misspelled

should be IWebAuthenticationHeader. There is no such word as authentication AFAIK.
There are a few other places in IWeb where the misspelling/typo appears.
Comments: to fix it would cause a breaking change.

IWeb likes to do a full file sync. It should only happen to the folder & it's children your working in.

With 2148 files in 98 folders uploading a file is horrid! This is due to a portal root sync being called every time. I modified IWeb to test if calling per folder would gain performance. It makes a world of difference. e.g. timeout vs a second or two.

I would like to add a feature to IWeb Explorer to allow you to save previous connection information. Basically, have a list of "recently used" portal connections.

If you think this is a good feature to add please vote for it, otherwise it will remain at the bottom of the priority list.

CLOSED FEATURE: Enable Message Chunking for Large File Transfers

This feature would provide support for much larger file upload (2GB+), allow resume on network failure, and enable better progress reporting.

If you would like to see this feature added please vote for this item. It appears to be a major investment to add this feature and did not feel that it was a good use of my time if the feature is not needed. If there is a high demand for it, we will consider including it sometime in the future.

Yeah these are my fault. However to fix them at this point is a breaking change. Chalk it up to the price of free software...
